Lo Sparviero

One of the most beautiful beaches in the Maremma, surely the most famous, Cala Violina and its singing sand, perfectly midway between Follonica and Punta Ala, lies within the
Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve:
it is a small cove of very white sand and clear, unspoiled water.
Set between the two headlands of Punta Martina to the north, which separates it from nearby Cala Martina, and Punta Le Canne to the south.
The beach can be reached only on foot or by bike, or by sea.
The not-so-easy access has probably helped keep this evocative beach of our Maremma wild and unspoiled, a true landscape gem, with a quality very rare to find
Cala Violina

CALA DI FORNO
Cala di Forno!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say, a wordless spectacle immersed in the wild Maremma in the heart of the Uccellina Park
Cala di Forno is a fine-sand beach well sheltered from the winds, located in the Maremma Natural Park, strongly protected; it is among the least accessible beaches but perhaps the most seductive on the Maremma coast.
The beach is about 3/4 kilometers long (one way only), reachable only on foot or by boat.
Of course it is a beach for nature lovers, for the more adventurous, and it is absolutely atypical: foxes or fallow deer often stroll on the sand, while looking up to the sky it is not rare to spot the majestic peregrine falcon.
On the beach of Cala di Forno it is not possible to buy water, food and there are no facilities to shelter from the sun, so it is very important to go well equipped.

LE FORMICHE DI GROSSETO
Three small islets, one of which has a lighthouse now used as a Luxury Hotel set in the middle of the sea,
included in the Tuscan Archipelago.
They lie off the Grosseto coast of the Maremma Natural Park, and rise sharply from a seabed about 100 meters deep.
They are part of the municipality of Grosseto. On the largest "Formica", Formica Grande, is the Formiche di Grosseto lighthouse.
The three islets are about 14 nautical miles from Castiglione della Pescaia, 10 from Marina di Grosseto and 8 from Bocca d'Ombrone
Here you are truly in a wild and enchanting place with crystal-clear, transparent water
The islands are highly appreciated by lovers of scuba diving.

ISOLA DEL GIGLIO
Giglio Island, the pearl of the Archipelago, is 24 nautical miles from Castiglione della Pescaia. Giglio Island is located in the Tuscan Archipelago opposite Monte Argentario; it is truly a beauty waiting to be discovered.
With its 21 sq km of area, it is the second largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago and is renowned for its natural beauty.
The crystal-clear emerald sea, with rich, fish-filled seabeds, frames a land that is still 90% wild.
Absolutely worth visiting:
Cannelle Bay, Caldane, Capel Rosso, L'Allume, Campese, Fenaio.
Finally, Giglio Porto to end the day with its venues for aperitifs and dinners in typical seaside restaurants.

You have just landed on the island and you can already feel, loud and clear, the deep breath of this wild rock, flooded by a dazzling Mediterranean light.
In this place the watchword is: don't rush.
